Nell's Cafe
Marling Cross Lodge Watling Street / A2, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 5UD
Directions (via Google Maps) Street View
Very tidy place with vinyl-clothed tables; great for trips down to Dover and Ashford. From Nell's website: Somewhere back around 1936 a lady decided to set up an old fashioned Tea shoppe at the end of her garden which would serve refreshments to people travelling along Watling Street (a busy trunk road which later became the A2) and which ran alongside her house. Nell's Cafe was in business.
